Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory: The EEPROM is a solid state memory whose stored values remain after power is turned off — it is non-volatile. The EEPROM is a read-only memory but its contents can be erased and reprogrammed by a pulsed voltage process known as burning or writing. The EEPROM on the Taranis stores your transmitter settings and calibration data as well as the information for all of your models for use by OpenTX, including trims, Lua scripts, sounds, and images. The EEPROM contains the data used by OpenTX Companion.
