NOTE:The first time you power on the Taranis after upgrading it will prompt you to format the EEPROM. Check through all model settings after upgrading

In this 10:49 miniute video Scott updates a Taranis from stock firmware to OpenTX 2.0. He uses a computer that has never had any of the FrSky or OpenTX software or drivers previously installed on it.

The installation segment was filmed straight through in real time with no editing except to speed up a couple places so you would not watch a progress bar move slowly across the screen.

Installing OpenTX is not that difficult. Be sure to check out lessons on this and other OpenTX topics at Open-TX University – www.open-txu.org
