A function used in Logical Switches that returns a momentary switch dependant on another switch or flight mode dependant on time active. The fields labeled V1 and V2 (in two parts) follow the function statement to define activating switch and value duration. For example if ‘SH↓’ is selected from the drop down choice list in the V1 field, V2 part 1 is the minimum time the switch needs to be activated for, whilst V2 part 2 is the maximum time the switch can be activated for (this may also be set to instant, or release) This logical switch when the SH has be held down for the time period specified.
A fourth field in the logical switch line permits a second source to become part of the comparison logic using the logical AND conjunction. Continuing the prior example, if SG↓ is selected in the AND field, then the logical switch becomes TRUE only when the SH switch is held down for the time period specified AND physical switch G is in the down position.
A 5th field in the logical switch line allow a duration to be imposed on the switch condition. Delay is not possible with this function.
