Clipping is used in two different contexts in OpenTX on Taranis conversations.
Distorted sound from the small speaker on the Taranis can be described as having been clipped. In that context clipping describes a sound that has been distorted by an inability of an amplifier and/or speaker to accurately convert an input signal into output sound.
Servo travel that abruptly stops on one side due to shortened travel from the servo center having been shifted is said to have travel that has been clipped on that side.
