The arrow symbols ↑  or ↓ describe the position of the 8 physical switches on the Taranis.  The up arrow ↑ indicates a switch in the UP or FORWARD position.  The down arrow ↓ indicates a switch in the DOWN or REARWARD position.  For example, SA↑ means that switch A is in the forward position, and SG↓ means that Switch G is down.  See also “-” and “!” for additional conditions.
