1. Turn on your transmitter and clear any warning screens.
2. Long-press MENU to enter Radio Setup mode.
3. Short-press PAGE three times to get to the version screen. Your version will be the first line on the screen. The Developer's version uses the format: opentx-taranis-2.0.17. The 2.0.17 is the version number. If your format is differs, you're running FrSky.
Hope this helps!

Unbracketed Inputs (I1, I2, etc.) give you the raw, unmodified inputs directly from the sticks and cannot be modified. Bracketed Inputs [I1], [I2], etc. are "defined" inputs. If an input is defined, we can modify it and have those modifications passed on to the mixers, servos, and eventually the airplane. When you create a new model, the inputs created are by default defined (bracketed) inputs.
You'll use raw inputs when you want whatever you're using the input for to reflect the raw output from the sticks. This can be handy when adding composition to your rudder to generate a coordinated turn or adding down elevator to compensate for the flare caused by deploying flaps.
You'll use defined inputs when making any modifications that you want passed on to your mixes.
Hope this helps!

When using Companion if you right click on a model and select make default. That model will be the loaded model when you power on your Taranis

You can download the most current version of Companion (and OpenTX at the same time) from the OpenTX Downloads page: http://www.open-tx.org/downloads.html .
When you download and install the latest version of Companion, you'll be prompted to download the latest version of OpenTX as well if you haven't already done so. It's recommended that you keep the same version of Companion on your computer that you're running on your Taranis. That way any changes or modifications in OpenTX are reflected in Companion.
Hope this helps!
