Weight: This is similar to “Rate” in other radios. 100% is the maximum weight available to us in the Inputs screen. A negative value entered here will reverse the direction of servo rotation, but we strongly recommend not using negative weights in Input to reverse servo direction.
Of special concern is that trim values are added to the stick values, so a negative channel weight in Inputs results in trim giving opposite control action to the stick. Servo reversals should be accomplished in the Servos screen to avoid confusing the relationships defined in Inputs and Mixer.
The weights that we enter in Inputs are typically switch-selected to define the high/medium/low rate differences for that input. The importance of this will become clearer as we complete the Mixer and Servos screens. Note: The final signal to the servo is the product of the Input weight times the Mixer weight times the servo travel limit. We accept the default Input weight of 100% for the Ail 3D line and will use 65% for Ail Hi and 40% for Ail Lo.
