Mode choices are Master or Slave.  This setting defines which way the trainer port works. This is used in a buddy box set up with an Instructor transmitter and a student transmitter.  In Master mode the Taranis is acting as the instructor box and is receiving signals from the student box.  In Slave mode the Taranis is acting as the student box.  An icon appears in the Main Screens when a trainer cord is connected showing which mode is in use. In Slave (output) mode, the channels that should be sent and the PPM frame parameters are customizable just like for External RF -> PPM.  Not needed in our basic set up.
