When in Edit Settings in OpenTx Companion, you have a choice of the following options for building the system firmware that operates the Taranis:
Noheli – removes the heli screens for simplicity if not needed
Sq5font – a heavier weight font that shows up better on Taranis screeen
Nogvars – removes the global variables screens for simplicity if not needed
Faichoice – Allows FAI Mode to be left OFF for practice to be turned ON for competition.
Haptic – enables control of haptic (vibrating) device for additional pilot feedback (alarms, etc)
Faimode – a feature to shutdown telemetry not allowed in competition.
Lua – enables access to Lua scipts by the firmware.
ppmus – displays PPM signals in microseconds (as in PWM modulation) instead of %
